Young Organic Farmer/Grower of the Year Award finalists announced

In November last year the Organic Research Centre (ORC) started their search for the Young Organic Farmer/ Grower of the Year (YOFY) 2024. Someone who could prove themselves a forward-thinking, innovative organic farmer/ grower passionate about implementing organic principles.

After careful consideration by a panel of experts, a strong field of nominees were shortlisted to. David Oates, farmer at Rosuick farm in Cornwall, Sparrow Middleton, Head Grower at Tolhurst Organics in Oxfordshire. Adam Beer and Rita Rita Oldenbourg Head Growers of Pitney Farm Market Garden in Somerset. Hamish Evans Head Grower and founder of Middle Ground Growers CIC in Bath and Chris Gospel Farmer managing an organic farm with beef, sheep and arable in Aberdeenshire.

The winner will be announced on July 2nd at the National Organic Conference
