Support Amendment 41 on Agroecology to the Agriculture Bill

We urge you to contact your local MP to back Amendment 41 to the Agriculture Bill, which is currently making its way through the Bill Committee stages.

The Amendment has been proposed by three Officers of the APPG (All-Party Parliamentary Group) on Agroecology for Sustainable Food and Farming – Kerry McCarthy, Caroline Lucas and Zac Goldsmith. The amendment would ensure that support for agroecological farming systems, including organic farming, underpins the delivery of the public goods included in the Agriculture Bill.

This is vital to ensure that these public goods are delivered in a way which is environmentally, economically and socially sustainable long term. The complete amendment is copied below for reference.

We would therefore kindly urge you to contact your Local MP to sign their name to Amendment 41.
