ReForest has launched a new Digital Platform, an innovative space designed to promote agroforestry and drive sustainable land use. The platform, funded by the European Union, offers a unique opportunity for farmers, researchers, policymakers, and advisors to connect, access expert knowledge, and collaborate on agroforestry solutions.
“By combining cutting-edge research, practical decision-support tools, and a dynamic space for stakeholder collaboration, we are building an agroforestry community that can drive real change.” Martin Lukáč, ReForest coordinator
Our Knowledge Hub is a key feature of the ReForest Engagement Platform. It is a comprehensive resource centre offering scientific reports, practitioner knowledge, best practices, and decision-support tools for sustainable land management, as well as videos, podcasts, and expert insights. Designed to bridge the gap between research and practice, it provides accessible and actionable information for those working in agroforestry.
Beyond knowledge-sharing, the platform drives collaborative action through Working Groups, where farmers, researchers, and experts come together to address key challenges and advance agroforestry solutions. By bringing together diverse expertise, these groups play a crucial role in accelerating the transition to agroforestry across Europe.
The ReForest Engagement Platform is also a dynamic space for interaction and exchange. Users can follow our News Feed to discuss challenges and share solutions, follow updates and success stories from the agroforestry community, and explore the events calendar for upcoming workshops, webinars, and networking opportunities. Users can also access a data visualisation page which depicts curated publicly available data as well as ReForest’s living labs data showing key trends and findings related to agroforestry practices.
The ReForest Engagement Platform is free and open to anyone interested in agroforestry. By registering, users gain access to exclusive resources, networking opportunities, and expert-led discussions that can help shape the future of sustainable agriculture.
