Participative soil carbon assessment

A new project led by the Natural Resources Institute at the University of Greenwich is piloting a new technique which aims to enable farmers to assess their own soil carbon in the field using a colourmetric test. They hope this will enable farmers to keep track of their carbon without the need for time -consuming and costly sampling and lab analysis.

Looking at soil health in a field

The project is looking to test what farmers record in the field and compare the same sample with lab analysis.

The application process is now closed as they have reached their maximum number of participants.
