I am currently in my last year of agricultural studies, and am working with the Organic Research Centre on my MSc thesis project Integrating organic farmers’ perception and local knowledge of soil structure and organic matter assessment with scientific knowledge for sustainable land use and management.
As a result, recommendations for farmers, describing reliable, practical and easily applicable soil assessment methods will be developed. Discussion groups, workshops and field labs with demonstrations will also be part of this project.
