Having served on ORC’s Council of Management for the past five years, with three of them as Chair, Tim Bennett announced his resignation at the AGM held on Wednesday 5th April. We would like to offer Tim a huge thank you for all that he has done to lead ORC over recent times, when his knowledge and experience have provided a steadying influence in the move from Elm Farm and subsequent change management programme that have built a strong foundation for us to build on for the future.
Tim will be succeeded by Donald Peck as Acting Chair. Donald has been a Trustee at ORC for almost 6 years and is hugely supportive of our work as an organisation. As well as his involvement with ORC, since 1994 he has also been trustee (for 13 years as chair) of a charitable enterprise owning a 100% organic estancia/conservation project in Argentina which finished organic conversion in 1994: https://www.fundaciondoshermanas.org/
