Mark Measures is retiring from ORC

Mark Measures has been at the forefront of organic farming in the UK for nearly 40 years and has been involved with Elm Farm/Organic Research Centre for most of its existence. Mark was farm manager at Elm Farm and established and headed the Organic Advisory Service at ORC between 1985 and 2000. He also set up IOTA (Institute for Organic Training and Advice. As senior adviser at ORC he has provided input to a large number of projects over the years as well as jointly editing the Organic Farm Management Handbook.

In 2016 Mark Measures was recognised for his contribution to UK agriculture by the award of Associateship of the Royal Agricultural Societies. Mark will continue to be available for consultancy work through Mark Measures Associates.
