Join the LWA for this farm tour and peer to peer workshop to learn more about economically and environmentally sustainable beef production

Brightleigh Farm in the village of Outwood, Surrey is 150 acres of permanent pasture and woodland on weald clay. They are Pasture For Life certified, practising regenerative farming methods and working with nature to produce great tasting, nutritious food for direct sale via our farm shop and farmers markets plus they supply a number of local butchers.

The tour will focus on:

  • Grazing management for soil health and pasture production
  • Cattle genetics for grass finishing
  • Bale grazing – the multiple benefits
  • Direct selling
  • Stacking enterprises to make the most of the land

The farm visit will involve a farm tour and peer to peer workshop to discuss key topics and explore challenges together. Following the farm tour a Your Farming Future Red Meat peer to peer group will be established which will meet online regularly.
