Trees: a valuable crop

A practical day looking at the benefits of agroforestry: how to manage existing woodland for livestock; planting for optimum arable production; funding sources and an introduction to the Woodland Trust. Speakers include Stephen Briggs, Abacus Organics; Mike Strachan, Forestry Commission Scotland and Russell Jobson, Woodland Trust. The day will also include a visit to Falkland Estate. The event is free to farmers and other land managers & £60.00 plus VAT to others. Places are limited and booking is essential so lunch and resource packs can be provided.
