Organics Europe Youth Event

Event Date : July 8, 2024 - July 9, 2024

Event Location : CIHEAM Bari, Italy

Following the successful first edition in 2022, IFOAM Organics Europe has announced the second edition of the Organics Europe Youth Event (OEYE) hosted by CIHEAM Bari on 8-9 July 2024 in Bari, Italy. The event’s programme is designed to promote cross-disciplinary collaboration and generate innovative ideas for the future of the organic sector, driving change towards sustainable practices in agriculture.

The Organics Europe Youth Event welcomes young individuals passionate about organic and sustainable agriculture, providing a platform for the next generation in the sector. The event is open to all interested actors who would like to broaden their networks with like-minded individuals across Europe, exchange innovative ideas on transitioning towards a more sustainable food system, and delve into the potential of organic food and farming practices.

The OEYE will bring together a diverse group of professionals, including farmers, students, activists, young industry professionals and politicians. The event will allow European youth active in organic to gain meaningful insights into sustainable practices across various segments of the food supply chain.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in panel discussions, group work, educational lectures and workshops about current hot topics in the organic field. Moreover, event attendees can optionally join a post-conference excursion to enhance their practical understanding through a one-day field trip providing first hand experiences with local organic operators.
