Event Location : Conygree Farm, Aldsworth, Gloucestershire, GL54 3PW

REGISTRATION IS OPEN for the 2024 Emergent Generation Summer Gathering! If you are passionate about sustainability in food system, this unique and inspiring two-day event in the Cotswolds is for you.

The THIRD Emergent Generation Summer Gathering, hosted by National Trust tenant farmers Jonty and Mel Brunyee on their 180-acre organic, pasture-fed and regenerative farm, aims to encourage, enable, and empower young people (18-35) to develop the skills they need for building a regenerative future.

Participants are encouraged to stay on site – camping and glamping options are available.

Emergent Generation is a diverse network of young people working together to build an agroecological food system and regenerative future. They aim to enable, encourage and empower a diverse network of young people (18-35) who are passionate about transforming our current farming and food system so that it is good for people and the planet. It’s FREE to join up here.

With funding from FiPL at Cotswolds National Landscape, members from the network have created an event for young people aged 18-35 who are passionate about building an agroecological food system and regenerative future. This event aims to ENCOURAGE, ENABLE, and EMPOWER participants; helping them to develop the skills and knowledge we need to build a regenerative future.

Here is a flavour of what the days will hold:

  • Practical workshops on leadership and communication, soil health, and owl conservation
  • Screening of Six Inches of Soil (in which we feature)
  • Farm and market garden tour
  • Visit another pioneering farm nearby
  • Great local food, morning yoga sessions, and time to party! Why not stay on for the legendary Conygree Farm Harvest Festival on Saturday night?

No need to be a member to come along (though sign up is free – click here), participants just need to be between 18 – 35 yrs and passionate! There will be folk from rural, urban and peri-urban communities, those practically involved in farming, land management, conservation and policy, as well as researchers, students and the curious.
