Event Date : May 29, 2014
The Soil Association National Livestock Event will help you, as a farmer, get to grips with managing your soils, optimise production with grazing strategies and improve carcass quality. As well as an up to date briefing on the latest organic market figures and trends, there will be a panel discussion on improving carcass quality as well as an discussion on red meat marketing opportunities.
The sponsors, the Woodland Trust, will highlight how best to integrate trees into your farming system using the example at Oxleaze Farm following recent plantings which they carried out with Charles and Will Mann. A farm walk is included and a delicious lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Tickets cost £20 + vat for Soil Association producer members or £30+ vat for non-members with a farm holding number. More information here
