ORC changes

The Organic Research Centre (ORC) placed Elm Farm on the market for sale in May 2019.

ORC uniquely works in partnership with a network of farmers and other organisations to conduct vital research and participatory trials.

These activities increasingly take place at the farms and premises of our partners.

The trustees and senior management of ORC have, therefore, reached the view that Elm Farm is no longer essential to the core of this work.

This is a strategic decision to enable a more flexible approach to our work and provide much needed investment income on an annual basis going forwards.

Carter Jonas has been appointed to handle the sale. More info

We are holding a consultation on the eve of NOCC19 at York Grounds Farm near Hull at 5pm on 2nd July 2019

If you cannot participate in the meeting but would like to provide us with information on some or all of the points above, please send your responses to Gillian Woodward
