ORC at Organic Matters 2022

The Organic Research Centre and Agricology were partners in the Organic Growers Alliance’s recent Organic Matters conference held at the Midlands Arts Centre in Birmingham on October 18th.

ORC’s Head of Research Will Simonson chaired the silvo-horticulture agroforestry workshop. In this fascinating session Martyn Bragg of Shillingford Organics reflects on the design lessons he has learnt nearly twenty years on from planting his agroforestry system. He is followed by Andy Dibben of Abbey Home Farm talking about the benefits that agroforestry can bring in terms of pest management in a market garden setting.
