Farm Woodland Forum Meeting

This year the Farm Woodland Forum’s Annual Meeting returns to Scotland and will cover the theme of “Woodland Grazing”

The meeting will be held at the Falkland Centre for Stewardship in Fife on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th June.

The event is being held with the support of the British Ecological Society Forest Ecology Group and Forestry Commission Scotland

Thursday 13 June: Morning presentations at the Falkland Centre for Stewardship. This will be followed by lunch, and then field visits to look at converting woodlands to grazing. The AGM of the Farm Woodland Forum will take place at the Covenanter Hotel in Falkland in the evening.

Friday 14 June: Site visit to the Glensaugh silvopastoral network site, with presentations from staff of the James Hutton Institute and hopefully discussions with Alyn Smith (MEP) who is on the EU agriculture committee.
