Institute of Organic Training and Advice

Information, training and accreditation for organic advisers and trainers

The Institute of Organic Training and Advice (IOTA) is a professional body for UK and Irish trainers, advisers and other extension workers involved in organic food and farming.

IOTA was borne out of a need for recognised standards of professional conduct on the one hand and better access to information, training and support for extension workers on the other.

The Institute is a division of Organic Research Centre (ORC). Launched in 2005, IOTA was developed with support and funding from ADAS, Organic Research Centre- Elm Farm, Organic Centre Wales and Soil Association.
